About the Indiana Mustangs Baseball Organization

The Indiana Mustangs Baseball Organization benefits young players that are seeking higher competition and excellence in instruction in the sport of baseball. The Mustangs have grown to 16 teams from ages 8 to 18. Each team plays strong competition throughout Indiana, and most teams travel to many large tournaments throughout the United States. We pride ourselves on teaching the fundamentals, strategies, and tactics of the game at each level, while focusing on having fun in a competitive and exciting environment. Every player of each team is dedicated to working hard in order to reach their maximum potential while holding themselves to the highest standards of sportsmanship.

The Mustangs are affiliated with and train out of Roundtripper Baseball Academy in Westfield, Indiana which is the one of the largest indoor baseball training facilities in Indiana, offering 12 hitting cages with pitching machines, multiple pitching lanes, and exercise equipment.  The Academy offers a large indoor practice field and outdoor diamonds.  All Mustang players are provided with a Roundtripper Academy membership that includes unlimited cage use, mound use, and indoor field use.  Mustangs players will also have access to some of the finest baseball instructors in the midwest and on-site conditioning programs provided by St. Vincent Sports Performance.

BRING YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST — EVERY PLAY — EVERY DAY

MUSTANGS ARE:

< PHYSICALLY CONDITIONED >
Condition requires not only the ability to perform at your strongest and best,
but also the will to do it. Total physical effort, regardless of situation or excuses,
offers the best chance of success.

< FUNDAMENTALLY SOUND >
Small decisions and actions often make the difference between winning and losing. Developing the correct fundamental habits is key, along with the discipline to preform theory correctly, without hesitation, under any circumstances.

< MENTALLY TOUGH >
Players and Coaches do not get caught up in artificial successes and failures. There must be a toughness capable of fighting through struggles and avoiding the traps of success.

< INDIVIDUALLY CONFIDENT >
Regardless of the situation, every player feels completely prepared for their specific responsibility and has learned how to thrive on the pressure of executing that responsibility. Both mentally and physically, players know not only what needs to be done, they also know they are capable of doing it.

< COLLECTIBLY PROUD >
Every player feels a sense of pride that shows they are playing for something bigger then themselves. Unselfishness creates a sense of unity and dependency that even in the most difficult circumstances can not be broken.
